These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Planterra iOS application ("the App") and any paid Planterra Pro subscriptions. By downloading or using Planterra, you agree to these Terms.
Planterra is developed and operated by Vladislava Trimborn (personal trader / Einzelunternehmerin) based in Munich, Germany. Contact: hello@planterra.cloud.
Planterra is an iPhone app that helps you care for houseplants using AI-powered identification, sun-aware window mapping, and personalized care recommendations. The App requires iOS 26.5 or later.
The App is provided "as is." While we work hard to make care recommendations accurate, they are informational only. We are not liable for outcomes to specific plants — plants are living things affected by many factors beyond our recommendations.
Planterra Pro is an optional paid tier that unlocks additional features. Three pricing options are available:
Monthly: €5.99 / month, auto-renewing
Annual: €39.99 / year, auto-renewing
Lifetime: €89.99 one-time purchase (not a subscription, no renewal)
Prices may vary by region and may include local taxes as determined by Apple's App Store.
If a free trial is offered with a subscription, cancelling before the trial ends prevents any charge. If you do not cancel, you will be charged at the end of the trial period at the regular subscription price.
The Lifetime tier is a one-time purchase that grants permanent access to Planterra Pro features on your Apple ID. It does not auto-renew. If we materially reduce or remove features covered by Lifetime, we will notify Lifetime purchasers via the App or email.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Under EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for purchases. However, by starting to use the subscription immediately after purchase, you expressly consent to waive this right. Apple's App Store handles withdrawal requests according to Apple's terms.
Planterra does not require an account. Your plants, photos, and care history live locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your data (e.g., through iCloud device backup).
Deleting the App from your device deletes all associated on-device data.

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Planterra is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under German or EU consumer protection law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the App or via email (if you provided one). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Consumers residing in the EU may also rely on the mandatory consumer protections of their country of residence.
